Parent Education

Santa Clara Unified offers several Parent Education classes every year. Currently, the district is offering the Santa Clara Parent Project and the 10th Annual Parent University.

DCSCO Family Movie Night - WALL-e

It’s Time for Movie Night! DCSCO is pleased to present Wall-e (G). Join us on Friday Jan. 16 at 6:30 pm in the MPR.

Admission is free, Everyone is Welcome! Don’t forget to bring your blankets, pillows, etc.

Popcorn, Pizza, and drinks will be available for purchase.

Matching Programs

Thank you to everyone who donated their time and money to the Walk-a-thon and the Book Fair. We were able to either match or exceed the amounts raised in prior years! This gives us funds to help buy books for the classrooms and provide and much needed supplies.

With the current state of the economy, we need to provide as much for the school as we can. Districts in Santa Clara County have already started cutting the arts and athletic programs in schools.

An easy way to contribute is through Corporate Matching! If you volunteered for school events, some businesses (Cisco) will pay the school $10 per hour for our school. If you donated to the Walk-a-thon or bought books at the book fair, some businesses (Yahoo, Microsoft) will pay the school the same amount.

This year we are starting a program called 2 Hour Power that emphasizes parent participation at the school.

All help, any help makes a huge difference for our students.

We would LOVE to get you involved in any way that fits your schedule and interests. Involvement is for everyone.

Participating in our 2 Hour Power program is very easy. Simply complete an online Interest Survey & Pledge Form at http://dcsco.ptomanager.com/ We will then be in touch with opportunities that fit your interest and availability.
